What to expect
To help your session run smoothly and make the most of our time together, here are a few recommendations:
- Please arrive about 10 minutes before your session start time so we can meet, prep, and begin on time.
- We can start with portraits with the cap & gown first.
- Bring your cap, gown, stole, cords, medals, and any meaningful accessories you’d like included.
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended between campus locations. You can always change into dress shoes during the session if preferred.
- Lightly steamed or wrinkle-free clothing photographs best.
- Hair and makeup should be fully ready before the session begins.
- Feel free to bring a friend or family member to help carry items or assist during the session.
- Group sessions work best when everyone arrives on time and ready to shoot.
Most importantly — relax and enjoy the experience. The best photos usually come from natural moments and genuine excitement celebrating this milestone.
Late afternoon and golden hour sessions are recommended for the most flattering light and softer campus backgrounds.
